Our Purpose
Citizens for a Better Norwood exists to ensure that every resident has a meaningful voice in the decisions that shape our town.
Unite like-minded Town Meeting members and Norwood residents to promote transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility in town government. We believe that open, honest governance is the foundation of a thriving community.
Encourage civic participation and advocacy on political matters of local concern including town budgets, zoning, public services, and infrastructure. We empower residents to understand and influence the decisions that affect their daily lives.
Provide a forum for discussion, education, and collaboration among Norwood residents. We believe that informed citizens make better decisions, and that community dialogue strengthens the bonds that hold Norwood together.
Endorse and support policies and initiatives that strengthen the quality of life for all residents of Norwood — regardless of background, age, or circumstance. A better Norwood is one that works for everyone.
Our Values
We hold our elected officials and town leadership accountable to the residents they serve, demanding 100% transparency in all public decisions before a vote takes place.

Our Structure
Citizens for a Better Norwood is organized as a 501(c)(4) a social welfare organization under the Internal Revenue Code. We promote social welfare and can engage in political activities but it is not our primary focus - our citizens are.
